Boxing day, the day when, traditionally, we go to visit Commando Senior and Grandma. Grandma was sitting knitting when we arrived and Commando Senior was in his office, a little shed by the side of the house. Eventually everyone was in the same room with cups of coffee and the present opening began. Grandma seemed pleased with the sleep set we got her, lavender bed spray and bath stuff, a silky eye mask and chamomile tea bags. She suffers with insomnia so hopefully it will help. Commando Senior liked his chocolates, although Grandma was a bit miffed because she can’t have any due to her diabetes.
Mini Commando got another of those shoot em up games, methinks someone told them what to get. Then it was time for us to open our present. As soon as I saw it I had a good idea what it was. Guess what, Commando Senior and Grandma bought us a big tin of Quality Street! Grr.
