31 December 2011 – New Year shopping

This morning I’m typing on my new iPad. Yesterday I finally found a laptop for Commando after trolling round every shop in the world and finding all the ones he liked were to of stock. It was a post Christmas present for him using my work bonus and I accidentally bought yself an iPad as well. Luckily I had more money on my Qdos card for bonus than I thought. Bit odd typing on a giant iPhone but nice.

31 December 2010 – reflecting on New Year’s Eve

New Year’s Eve always feels like a time to reflect. This time last year I was a few stone heavier. I’d had a Christmas of eating far too much and all my clothes were tight and uncomfortable. I felt horrible and NYD was the day I decided to get back on track and do something about it once and for all.

Happy New Year!

I’m glad to be seeing the back of 2009. Seems to me like its been nothing but trouble right from the outset. Mind you, I suppose there have been some good bits, working with Mac, losing weight, doing the Race For Life. It hasn’t all been bad.
