19 August 2011 – perspective

We had loads of rain here yesterday and flooding but the sun is out today. My throat is still very sore so I’m going to take it easy today. Mostly I will be going food shopping up the big hill and reading my kindle.

19 July 2011 – father’s day

There’s still no good weather here but at least it’s not raining so far. Commando went i off to do his c25k run in the morning. He went along the shore today. He really seems to be enjoying this running business and I wonder if I should download the app and give it a go. Not sure I’m really built for it though.

10 June 2011 – a runner in the family

This week has been my first week properly back on the wagon since my holiday. Yesterday morning I weighed in and I’ve lost 3 lbs. Now I will be trying to stay on the wagon for the next few weeks by which time I will hopefully be under the lower end of my target weight range and can go back to maintaining.

17 May 2011 – C25K

No, not me, I may be a complete nutter but not that mad yet. Commando has just told me he has dowloaded the C25k app. He has been inspired by the Moonwalk girls and wanted to start running so he can take part in a race. He was talking about it on our journey home on Sunday and I told him about the C25K and about Ali and Jenny from WLR doing it.
